From Dave Probert — Phil Hombrey a wintering doctor at the time of the Rothera rebuild is walking from John ‘O’ Groats to Lands End in aid of the charity “MIND” It would be good if any BAS Personel past or present would give support. Exactly 100 years after the SY Aurora set sail for the last time, the ANARE Club held a ceremony to mark the loss of the SY Aurora and her crew. The ceremony took place at Newcastle Cathedral in New South Wales, as it was from Newcastle that she made her last departure.

Port Lockroy Team Selection – Port Lockroy selection has a reputation of being an exhausting, interesting and fun-packed two days and this year was no exception.
